Please post this privately – is this unreasonable? He’s never given me a penny towards our son. Never brought anything. I try be nice to save him some money also and this is what I get? Our baby is 7 months old he’s seen him 6 times! I kind of knew this would be his response but to start calling me names when I’ve done nothing but help him and give him every opportunity to be there for our son?!

If he can’t afford it fair enough but no need at all to answer you like that. Any decent man would have said he couldn’t pull that all put at once but could pay in two payments or 3 or even offer you a tenner a week x
I wouldn’t waste your time don’t offer any help if he wants to be like that it’s his loss just keep all nasty messages then when your little one is old enough you can show just how little dad was interested
