My 5 year old’s Reception teacher wanted to refer my Son to see a speech and language therapist and an occupation therapist, I am guessin for ADHD or Autism, they didn’t really specify just said he sometimes shows odd behaviour for example he likes to hug the kids and sometimes gets in their faces and he can be loud ect..well anyway he has seen the speech and language therapist and she said he did fine, he has been discharged straight away just waitin to see the occupational therapist now? Does anyone know what they will do? I personally think my child is fine to be honest, the only thing I would say that he does do odd is he does like babies, he will go up to them in their pushchairs and stroke them ect and with dogs (he does ask first to stroke them though) that is all I find a bit odd cause I don’t know many other children that go up to babies and stroke them! Also he has took quite an interest to the time but I think that is because he is learnin about it at School! But learnin wise and behaviour wise (for me anyway) he is fine! He recently had his School report and it was good, maths is where he should be and his literacy is over where he should be! I just want to see this occupational therapist now and just get the help (if he does need it that is) thanks for readin
