Recently I had a meetin with my Reception childs class teacher and they want him to see a occupational therapist and a speech and language therapist as they say he does strange things like messes with velcro and puts his head on the carpet and moves his head and always wants to hug the other children and sometimes gets in their faces so they feel he may have a sensory issue? Also they said they don’t feel sometimes he takes things in even though all his work/reading/writing is right where it should be? So now all I can do is worry because I don’t know what the outcome will be? Has anyone had a child with similiar issues and knew what the outcome was? My Son ent a bad lad, I always just assumed he was a friends lad and sometimes got bored in class maybe so fiddles with things or tries to communicate with the other kids? He surely is takin things in cause his work is fine so makes no sense? Any suggestions please? Thank you!
