PP please. Morning everyone, question about a new job. I’m about to go for an interview today for a really good job, however if offered it, when they get my reference it is going to say I have had 20 days off in the last 12 months. I know I will be contacted by their HR team to ask me for more info as to why so much sick and if I can remember the periods I took off…. My big question is I have had 5 days off since January 2017 due to an injury I sustained BUT the big chunk of 15 days was scattered over September October an November last year due to being PREGNANT. I got really sick and was in an out of hospital all the time during those 3 months and unfortunately miscarried due to complications. I am really worrried that if I get the job they will withdraw it, due to it being subject to reference. However I know they will ask and I will explain the situation. Please help Mums do you think they will understand? Should I be worried? I won’t be asked any of this at the interview so I am not going to disclose it and ruin it for myself already lol! Thankyou xx
