Pp please ..my daughters baby is 12 weeks old she’s been breastfeeding with no problems but the last week there’s been blood in her milk and one boob feels bruised any ideas please she feeling down because she doesn’t want to stop breastfeeding yet x

Blocked duct? Possible mastitis? feed baby lots on that side and try to position baby’s chin so that it pushes in to the sore bit, massage the breast in a warm shower, alternate hot and cold flannels on the breast, if it doesn’t shift in a day or two, or she starts feeling flu like symptoms get straight to a doctor.
