Pp please

I suspected a hemorrhoid about 3 days back, I’ve been applying anusal cream as its external. Also been using movicol.
BUT
The pain is worsening and it’s not going down, I’m now thinking it could be a abscess! Has anyone had a anal abscess? If so how long did u leave it before getting help? What was the treatment?
