Am I selfish.

Me and my partner had an argument last night about how I haven’t found another job, well I did find another job but I would have 2 days of 12 hour shifts 7.30am to 7.30pm and then what days they give me would be 7.30am till 2pm. This is an opurtnity to become a carer and get qualifications for it. He said at the time I’m sure we could sort something out. Well last night in apparently selfish bevause I didn’t stop and think it will be to much for my partner to get up at half 7 in the morning to take our daughter to school on the days I work. He works 3pm till 12am and sits up till 4am on the Xbox and then goes to sleep till about 11/12pm the next day. When I was working and at college I was up at 6am getting ready and taking our daughter to nursery and I went college from 8 am till 4pm then to work from 5pm till 10pm didn’t get home till 11pm. We had a childminder for majority of my time there and then he would watch out little and she would be in bed. I look after my step kids on the weekends we have them and on holidays etc but I still worked in the evening when we had them on holidays or weekends I had to change my lifestyle to fit him to do what he wants. But I’m selfish bevause he would have to change his lifestyle so I could work aswell. He then throws in my face look at the single mums getting jobs working around the kids hours etc. Am I a selfish person for the fact the only time I can work in the daytime and could have had such a brill job caring for people and warning a decent wage so we can both work and it’s equal. Or should I get s job the fits around her hours and I’m being unfair. Please no harsh comments I suffer from low moods and aniexty as It is x
