It says amount above the cap. I would say that’s what you have to pay yourself. They’ve capped housing benefit so anything above that cap you have to pay yourself. I’d phone them on Monday to find out. If you can’t afford it, maybe try looking for a cheaper place to live. They’re cutting benefits all over the place. I don’t get housing benefit but I’m sure in Scotland you don’t get anymore than £450 a month off them anymore so if your rent is £500 you have to pay £50 a month yourself x
Ring then there really good. Ur only getting 25.31 off your weekly rent so whats left you pay…. so if you rents 80 a week ur paying just under 55 a week.
You’ve gone that amount over the cap so it looks like they’re taking it from your housing benefit entitlement. So they’ll give you £51.61 a week to your rent but the rest you have to pay yourself. (I think ) how much is your weekly rent?
whatever your rent is over the benfit cap youll have to pay out of whatever money you get xx
It means your getting 81 pound 81 a week on the 10 of may 325 will be paid in to your account and will be paid every 4 weeks into you account
