PPP. How often do you see you mum and how often do they see your children? I have a 4yr old daughter and my mum has never once had her over night or took her out on days out etc. I see so many of my friends on my Facebook who’s parents dote on there grandchildren, have them for sleepovers and takes them out for trips etc. Up until last Friday my mum hasn’t come to my flat for 4 months I only ever see her if I pop into her work to say hello on my lunch break. I used to text all the time then I thought well I make all the effort to text or to arrange to meet etc so I stopped and she doesn’t bother at all. I have tried to speak to her about it but she says she is busy and has her own life which I understand but I also work and have my own life but still wanna see my mum. My daughter has asked my mum to sleep at hers and she says she has no room yet she has a whole spare bedroom. It’s my birthday tomorrow and not her or my sisters have bothered to see me or attempt to make plans with me. I don’t really know what I want from this post but I just feel as a grandparent she should be making more effort to see my daughter. She sees my other sister and my nephew more and my sister only lives round the corner from me 😞
