I have a bad mould problem in the flat I am private renting off my landlord. I asked them 6weeks ago to sort it and they said ok but nothing was done so now I have involved the council who are coming out today to do a full inspection. My landlord is hinting for me to move now and saying he is putting the rent up and came round telling me to cancel council coming out but I said no. I think they are worried as know they are in trouble! I am 5months pregnant and live with my 8yr old daughter and husband. My daughter’s chest is constantly bad and at doctors on inhalers ect and I think its due to the mould which is growing on the doors and even photo frames (pics attached) What do you think can be done? Can council house us? We cant afford to move ATM as to expensive. Thanks all.
