I have two kids ages seven and five to my ex partner, I’m now with a new partner and I’m three months pregnant

I don’t know weather I’m just been a bit of an idiot or not but I feel like my partner isn’t on my wavelength when it comes to the baby I’ve been making lists and looking for things that were gonna need for the baby and he doesn’t doesn’t seem that interested. This is his first baby. He tells everybody that he’s over the moon and he can’t wait but to me he just doesn’t seem to be taking it very seriously
Any one else’s partner like this or am I just been daft
