Ppp, I wonder if anyone had advice/experience with an overpayment from the tax credits? I’ve was told months ago that I’ve somehow had a large overpayment over the course of the past two years and my CTC were stopped in July and I’ve heard nothing since. I assumed by stopping payments instead of me receiving them the money would be taken off the debt. I rebudgeted my outgoings to cover the missing CTC but I’m struggling before xmas. My question is what happens now? Is my debt being paid off at all or should I be receiving some sort of CTC with deductions to pay it back. I don’t know what to do and can’t find information on it nor can I afford to sit on hold for hours trying to be connected.
