PPP if possible please
my partner has a child from a previous relationship. her mum is primary carer but my partner has her every day he has off (he works full time shift work normally has 2 days off a week)and when he’s on earlies has her for a few hours after work.
her mum is planning on moving abroad within the next couple of months and wants to sign over custody to my partner.
she seems to think she can just get a contract drawn up and the custody will be transfered?
I’ve contacted citizen advice to find out what needs to or will happen in terms of signing over custody but they weren’t much help.
just wondering if anyone has any info or advice in terms of what happens or who we need to contact?
