Ppp……im looking to start my son at private nursery in September and have been told it’s £25 a day. I don’t work right now as I’m a full time mum and was wondering how childcare costs work? How do i apply?im totally clueless as I’m a first time mum and the job centre aren’t much help. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would think if it a private nursery then u will have to pay if you are on benifit. You will only get help when you have a job xx
As far as I’m aware u have to work to get childcare paid for. Might be wrong
Depending on age from 2 years old you may entitled to 15 hours but you’d have to check on council web page x
The best person to speak to about this, would be the nursery and your health visitor. X
