PPP , in need of a late night rant. It was my stepdaughters 6th Birthday last week and I got her a really lovely engraved necklace with her name on it from myself as a nice little gift. She wore it home to her mums and we told her to look after it and wear it when she next comes up (just so we get to see her with it on too as we only see her one night a week). She came up tonight and she said the necklace is all twisted and knotted and her mum forgot to send it up with her. I’m gutted. I’m sitting in tears and it sounds so stupid but I feel like why do I bother when her mum doesn’t have the respect to send it back up or even message and say the necklace is twisted or whatever. I thought she would look after something special, she’s only had it a week. Am I stupid for being really upset by this? 😢
