Ppp iv been breastfeeding for 10 month and now iv got cramping and bleeding not spotting full on red blood I’m worried as I breast fed my other 2 children for longer with no bleeding I can’t get in doctors till tomorrow anyone else been like this and been ok?

Breastfeeding doesnt always stop periods but the hormone produced by breast feeding help to stop the ovum from ripening. It may well be the start of your periods returning especially if feeds have decreased. Get the once over from the gp or hv for peace of mind x
It’s more than likely just your period. Breast feeding doesn’t always stop them. I exclusively nursed 3 of my 4 children for over a year each and still got my period each month starting 2 months post partum.
Dont ring 101 … 111 what ever it is .. They will tell you to see your gp.
I only breast fed my last baby for 10 months as well. She just didnt want me any more other wise id carry on . I never had a period at all through the 10 months . then one week after she stopped I bleed heavy for 6 weeks ! Until I got pissed off and seen the gp I was also on the mini pill which clearly was not helping. I was put on norethistrone ( excuse spelling) for 10 days to try slow it down day 8 it stopped thank god ansd the nurse changed my pill and all fine :} x ( they may put u through for a smear too )
Sorry but won’t this just be a period? Or are you pregnant
To add my periods stopped for 4 months and started to return in this manner when i reduced feeding x
