PPP……. I’ve been seeing a guy for over a year now he has a child from a previous relationship and so do I. The problem is his child is quite young and quiet and well behaved however mine is 6 and is definitely starting to assert her authority and I’m dealing with it and I know it’s just a phase…. the problem is I really don’t think he accepts her and thinks she’s just ‘naughty’ I have tried to speak to him about this and he just tells me I’m being stupid and that he does care but that he’ll never care about her the way he does his son which yeah I get on one level but I really didn’t need it slapping in my face the way he said it…. he isn’t bad with her just when we have both the kids I go out my way to make sure his son doesn’t feel left out but he does treat my daughter slightly different he is less tolerant of her he says this is because she’s older and should know better but she’s still fairly young and I think there’s more to it…. my daughter adores him and it’s almost like she’ll misbehave to get his attention…. he never used to be like this with her…. what do I do? My instant reaction is to either end it with him or keep them apart so my daughter doesn’t get hurt as she’s been hurt enough by her so called dad…. I just want to cry 😭 sorry I think I just needed to get it out to people who don’t know me
