Ppp. Ive had my baby 2 days ago and i bleeding but it’s not red it’s yellowish is it normal I’ve had a c-sec aswell and how long does for my scar to heal please thanks x

I had c section 7 months ago and for about 2 weeks I was bleeding heavily and it was yellow kind of puss looking but was told totally normal. And then it stopped and then had light bleeding for a further week and then stopped altogether but have a chat with midwife when they come see you anyway xx
My plaster had to be removed before I left hospital so they could check it. Wound will take a while to heal, just take it easy and remember you’ve had major abdominal surgery! I thought I was OK cus it looked OK on the outside so took my lg on the bus shopping – BAD MOVE!!!! X
I had a c section last week and my bleeding been the same they said it was fine to be like that. I got my plaster thing took of today and mines is healing well just don’t over do it to make it burst or infected and it heal in time

Yellow is fine. Scar will take around 6 weeks to heal (you have to heal internally too)
Contact maternity unit.. Yellow could be a sign of infection. Your scar should be healed in a few weeks
Don’t do anythi g too excessive please. You don’t want a prolapse
Go for a wee walk and get things going again xx
Mine was the same with both my c-sections x
