Me and my long term partner have split up were trying to figure out a fair routine for him having the kids .
We thought every second weekend Friday till Sunday.
And because of we have a toddler and teenager he can take them the odd night/day by themself to do certain activities leaving me free with the other child to do something , this won’t be set days but means both get quality time with each parent aswell !
Can people let me know what they do ?

I think that sounds fair and like fantastic co-parenting. You are both putting the children first. You both may need to be flexible down the line. Especially with the teenager, they are old enough to decide where they want to spend their time. Well done you two xx
Thanks ladies he works at 7.30 through the week but can take the teenager if she wants to stay but not toddler as he’s hell if woken in the morning .
We have said if important parties we can work together to accommodate such things !
He’s staying at mine birthdays and Christmases to wake up with kids .
I know this may change along the lines with new relationships and so on !
One week we do Tuesday Wednesday Saturday Sunday then the next is Monday Thursday Friday xx
