Ppp my son is 3 and has been toilet training for nearly a month he is doing great indoors does both on the toilet with hardly any accidents and asks when he wants to go. Recently I have been taking him out for short periods of time in his pants to the local shop etc but I don’t know how to go from that to taking him out for longer periods in pants like on the bus, has anyone got any advice that has helped with the transition?

Take him before he goes, and always make sure u have a spare set of clothes and a pack of wipes with you…. Many a days ive stripped my son and changed him hovering over him trying to cover his modesty ๐๐
On the plus side, boys are much easier as if he know when he needs to go its easy to just pop them in a corner so he can have a wee ….
Sorry its not much advise but all been there and get through im sure you will too.
Good luck xx
Always take spare clothes with u, try him for wee before u leave anywhere with toilets even if he says he doesnt need one and dont be afraid to let him pee up a tree or in a grid (and many more places u never thought ud be publicly peeing in๐) while Out and about
Make sure he goes before you guys leave home but I’d still put on a pull ups just in case he has to go while on the bus.
Just go for it and just keep asking him bout every 20min does he need loo…
I got my daughter a travel potty for long distances and it worked wonders as it’s small and light to carry around with you x
Travel potty and a bag of spare clothes. Ask frequently like u wud at home if he needs the toilet. Dont put nappies on him while u are out as that cud send him backwards
If i go out on the bus in the car i take and pop bottle my little boy thinks its funny weeing in a bottle of we out on a walk i just tske him where no 1 can see
It will take longer out side as he getting used it at home tollet he will get there soon don’t push him
You can buy travel urinals on amazon and ebay. X
