PPP. Nbr. Think just need to let of steam.
My little boy his 3, is currently being assessed for autism. He had 1 app yesterday and the doctor has said he needs 1 to 1 support at nursery and for when he starts school. We now awaiting for more referral to see someone else. I’ve kept his nursery up to speed with everything and what they doctor has said to help with him. Anyway today I had call at lunch 12 to go and collect him as he’d had 2 incident where he’d hit other children ( I don’t condone the violence ). They made me feel like the worse mum ever and like they cannot cope with him. I got there all other children were sitting eating lunch and he was sat waiting in corner with all his stuff, all he asked on way home was to eat his lunch and as soon we get home he sat and ate it all.
Now debating if I should send him back when his next due in or just keep him home with me untill we get diagnosis, and the support he needs. Thank you. xx

  • Unfortunately wether you get a diagnosis doesn’t automatically mean you’ll get one to one in school..my son has ADHD and ASD our consultant spoke to my sons headteacher in our MAT meeting saying he needs extra one to one support and he doesn’t get any extra support at all 😢..maybe you ought to have a meeting with school to put strategies in place until his diagnosis xx
