Dont even no what I’m after here. But here goes

My son is 8yrs old .and has a phobia of weather .not just a sertan weather but all weather … So rain ( he thinks flood )
Wind ( he thinks hurricane) sand blowing ( Sandy storm) thunder and lighting . the wind may bLow the trees and if hes counted them he will start to think there going to blow over . the list don’t end there.
I found a wearher app on his phone and have deleted it as he would go by the times of what the weather says.
Its getting from bad to worse ! Its lovely and hot out side and he is indoors with me. We have tryed to go to the park down the hill from us we lasted ( 1hr) . oh and 45mins to get to town cus he was a mess ! . he gets all clammy and starts rubbing or scratching his arms . he will find all sorts of excuses when I ask him “are u ok “. We nipped in the shop and he came out with such a sweat on fast beathing.. Its driving me nuts !! I have tryed so much and I cant help but feel cross !!I am stuck indoors with the other children just cus he cant or wont go out !!
Hes friends have even stopped calling now as he wont play out . or if he does he will only go to the car park or pursade them to play in

Could this be anxiety. . can doctors help if I try again !! ( we have been a few years back ) is there any thing I can give to calm his nerves ( we have to keep a flowing conversation with him b4 we can get out and keep it going ) x
