So I’m looking a bit of advice on how to handle a situation. My kids have recently started playing outside my back. It’s a little court with no Roads and I can see them from my window. Anyway there are two kids across the way that they play with. One if them is fine but it’s the little boy I can’t stand. He is 5, he curses a lot and lies a lot saying things like someone pulled a knife on them but my son told me he was talking rubbish. he walks into my house on his own without my kids and looks in my fridge and asks for food. I don’t mind giving him stuff but I think it’s a bit rude and disrespectful to try and help himself. I also have a budgie that flys around my house so my doors need to be closed yet he always walks in leaving it open. He pulls out my kids toys making a mess and is so nosy asking things like why are you not with your kids daddy and do you have a boyfriend. I have spoke to the mum briefly but not about that stuff just general chit chat. She knows everyone in the street but I’m a bit more private. They all drink together but I don’t drink. I’m afraid to mention to the mum about it because I don’t want to be known as the complainer of the street. I have to live here and I would like to live in peace. I feel like just keeping my kids in so I don’t have to deal with the kid but that’s not fair on my kids. Sorry for the long post
