PPP to either of the pages please ..

I’m currently in a two bed apartment (single mum) it’s such a place and I really want to move but all private rented are soo expensive around my area and I know because I’m housed I wouldn’t be able to get a council place …

Iv looked into private renting or renting through agency for a bigger place but they all seem so expensive and I’m not sure if I would get extra help if I was to move?
Can Somone shed some light on if I was to move would my housing benefit go up because my rent would be higher? Or because I was seen to not needing to of moved i wouldn’t get anything else?
