What’s everyone’s views on children watching the telly?

I see more and more of people just putting bouncers infront of the telly with little babies in!!

I personally have never done that with my 1 year old and now he’s up walking and noticing things more he’s starting to watch telly so I’ve been putting children’s programmes on for him (not for long tho)
