PPP xxx i have a 4 year old and a 16 month old but live in a 2 bed property. 16 month old was moved out of our room in to children’s room 3 months ago as he was waking 5 times a night crying and shouting for me because he could see me asleep in my bed. So we swapped the kids over and the 4 year olds bed in now in our room. 16 month old got on really well and learned how to sooth himself off to sleep and doesn’t need me rocking or cuddling him off. now sleeps through 7-5.30/6/6.30/7. 4 year old always sleeps through. We hope to move next year but until then what do I do-should I move 4yo in to kids room with 16mo? How do I do this? He does sometimes cry in the night and i ignore and let him settle himself back off-worried this would disturb 4yo. She starts school in September and I don’t want her tired because of 16mo. Not the end of the world to keep her in here but I really miss having a bedroom of our own! Any advice from parents with children who share a room? Tia x
