Can I have advice on my 7 year old son.

I’ve been battling with his school as to why I think he needs to be referred for an assessment;

He laughs or smiles at inappropriate things
Will pretend to fall over in social situations
Will chew his clothes or fingers most of the time
Will talk over anyone or interrupt
Can show no emotion when being told off
Gets very easily distracted
Hardly any concentration
Will talk about one thing then will go off on to another topic.
Cannot sleep at night.
Will repeat specific words.

I appreciate that it may not seem like a huge list but it’s really starting to impact on his school and home life.
