First off, happy new year to everyone, I hope 2018 brings you all happiness ⭐️
So basically this is a post about work. I have 2 young children, 2&4months, I work part time, term time (as a depute manager in a childcare setting) and my partner works but on zero hour contract,but works 5 and a half days most weeks. I have been offered another job (again another senior post) to fit around my current job but it’s not term time, full time throughout the school holidays. I feel I want to take the job and work both jobs to better our lives money wise as we really struggle just now and worried my partners job could stop at any point due it being a zero hour contract but I feel I would miss out so much of my babies life’s, they would be able to come to my new job with me and just be in a different room from me. During holidays when my current job is closed I would still finish at 2 and would be able to spend time with my kids then and obviously I’m off every weekend and will have holidays. Is it worth it just for money? Any advice would be great! Thank you!!
