I’ve always been really good to my boyfriend but unfortunately I was always lucky to even get a card. This Xmas I was going through a lot and he turned up with tickets to see my favourite singer I nearly fainted. About 2 months ago After 7 years I broke up with him and ever since he’s been trying to control me and tell me I can’t live without him etc. All of a sudden he starts saying we have to still attend the concert together, I said I’d rather not do that as we been broken up 2 months and he will spoil the day by being in a bad mood and trying to control me. He said I haven’t got a choice, he then threatened to take money of me and said there be trouble if I don’t do as he says. I asked people for advice and some said give them back then your have no ties some said it was ur only gift keep them. By the way he also owes me £2000 and I have bought him all of his clothes, shoes furniture etc which he says I’m not getting no money for. So anyway over the last week he’s been saying to me we should both take time out to reflect because he thinks I’m going to regret my decisions so he’s been telling me to stay in and hes been texting me a lot asking about my where abouts (I knew I didn’t want to be with him but didn’t want to be on the receiving end of threats) . I got a call today if a mutual friend basically telling me my ex who’s meant to be reflecting has been out 3 nights in a row and is publicly talking to another girl. I basically text him and said ” no more playing games I know what you’ve been up to and I don’t want to be with u please leave me alone and you will not be attending the concert with me please don’t contact me” he’s going mad – what’s your thoughts? Do u think he should be coming or not?? What can I do about the threats?
