Just need to vent really.

So we went on a family day out to the zoo today. There was me and my partner and our two children. Our youngest was in the pushchair and my eldest was walking. He wanted to go back and see the monkeys so I went with him and was carrying him so he could see. As I was walking back to my partner and youngest child, I’ve gone over on the uneven ground whilst holding my eldest.

He’s grazed his back and thankfully I fell next to him rather than on top of him but I just feel so incredibly guilty. Like I’m sat here crying because I know I’ve hurt him even though it was a complete accident!!

I don’t think it helps that he’s staying with his grandparents over the weekend and I go back to work on Monday so I know that today’s my last full day with them. Sounds stupid but I don’t want him to remember his half term as the time that ‘mommy fell with me in her arms’ type thing.

Sorry for the long post but just need to get t off my chest. If I spoke to my partner he’d probably just tell me that I was being stupid lol
