Can’t be the only one on here living like this! Been sanctioned for ESA, housing benefit and tax credits coz my partner went back to work for two weeks until he lost his job due to my mental health and not being able to be left alone as I just wasn’t safe. Electric metre isn’t working. Their help line shuts at 8pm. Spoke to someone on line and even tho saying I had topped up key but is now not working even to put emergency on and I have a child in the house they did they couldn’t do anything until tomorrow. The last bit of money I had to put on the key they’re now saying I have to send off to them in post to get a refund. So even if they do give me a ref number for top up at pay point tomorrow I have no money. Feel like I’ve really let my son down as can’t provide the basics. Haven’t had gas for weeks either. Have minimal food in the house. I have often not been eating in the day so my boy can have it but the stuff we have left is stuff he don’t like. I can’t but help he’d be better off with a family that can give him at least the basics feel like I’ve really let him down I live him so much. I’ve failed at being a mummy.
