Private post please…. bit of a long one and bit of a rant but basically my mil is an arsehole haha, she never bothered with my little girl who’s 2 and a half I tried and we had many arguments for 2 and a half years and I finally stopped trying couple of months ago, my partner still talks to her but I don’t and I even let him take her to her house Boxing Day for presents, she has 4 grand kids all together we are the closest to her literally 3 mins down the road but she still never bothered. Anyway she was really nasty about me saying I was fucked in the head etc after I said enough was enough the other month , anyway there’s a Xmas tradition down the beach in our town and her and her husband went and found my family to watch the Xmas swim with them, I was actually shocked because all she said about me then has the cheek to go and be all nice to my family?! Anyway I’m pregnant with my 2nd and I know it’s going to cause an argument because I don’t want her to come to the hospital at all!!!!! She’s vile and never has anything nice to say about my daughter always says she has a lisp when she sees her and takes the piss and laughs at her and my partner sent her a pic of 20 week scan and all she had to say was he’s got massive lips!! Nothing else just that!! I’ve tried sitting down with my partner and explaining to him how I feel but he’s bit blind to it… there’s been a lot of history between us where she has been quite nasty to me numerous of times, she mugs my partner off so many times and I’ve sat back and watched it happen and I just won’t sit and watch that for my kids although I did 2 and a half years with my little girl … I just don’t know how to not argue about her coming to the hospital! I don’t really want her meeting him at all! But will do for my partners sake… 😤 Thankyou, sorry it’s long x
