Has anyone ever been able to find love again after being in a domestic relationship?
In 2013 I met my ex-partner who was 10 years older than me and in 2015 I broke the relationship up due to the fact I was very unhappy and our relationship was mental, emotional and sometimes physically abusive although we were still in contact up until June of this year its a long story. The problem is I have ended up really anxious over all that went on and it has put me off wanting to even be with someone else as I’m really emotional about it all.
I got close to someone last year as I have been single for the past two years we have become best friends we aren’t together but I love him as my friend and his family adore me. We go out to the cinema etc and I love every minute we spend together the problem is the minute he goes to leave near enough everytime I will cry or get really anxious that he’s not going to come back and see me again and I don’t want our friendship to be ruined because of it but I just can’t seem to get over how badly I have been treated by men in the past so any advice would be great 🙂
