Hi all, just after some advice! I got my daughters report back from school this week and she’s literally not reached any of the expected! I know I shouldn’t be comparing children and they learn at different levels, but my argument is that the teachers have been telling me all year she is perfectly fine and reaching all goals etc! Then I see this report, it feels like a kick in the teeth 😓 I would have liked to have known the truth a lot earlier on, so I could fight for the help she needs! But i called a meeting this morning and the teacher literally weren’t even arsed, me and her dad felt rushed and also found out that our daughter is a year behind.. yet they noticed this within her at the start of reception and still didn’t think to tell us until now?! 🤔
So anxious because learning difficulties is in the family and I want to catch it early and help her but I can’t when I’m being lied too! 😭

What can I do to make sure she gets the right help for year 1?! Who do I go to? Etc, because her teacher clearly can’t be arsed.. so upset and frustrated.
