Private post please? (I know a few people on the page and would like to remain anonymous)
What’s everyone’s partner like with a newborn? Mine barely has anything to do with our child unless I go “mardy” and say something (like he has a point to prove) or so he doesn’t ‘miss out’ when others are having a cuddle. I do practically everything for our child (I don’t mind doing it but don’t see why I should – I feel my child’s missing out on quality time!). I always thought my partner would make a good dad and never expected him to be like this (there’s always some excuse or he fakes sleeping!), I’m genuinely starting to resent him. (Also, his family is quite interfering now, despite not wanting to know our child previously, and my partner never says anything/sticks up for our child!!😡).
Feels like I ought to be a single parent as I do it all anyway. TIA x
