Looking for some advice on what to do in my situation, my partners parents live in Cornwall and he wants me to go down this summer with our two boys and his daughter. His mum is an alcoholic and completely changes when drinking and says horrible nasty things to me. The last thing she said to my partner about me was that I wouldn’t be happy until I stop him seeing his family and his daughter. I have never done or said anything for her to even think this. I love his daughter as my own, even though she treats me like rubbish and lies about me to her mum. I have always made an effort with his family, doing Christmas for them all whilst having a 1 year old and being heavily pregnant. I really don’t want to go and have my boys around an alcoholic who slags there mummy off. I will feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I just don’t know why my partner is making feel like I’m being the horrible one. Please no nasty comments I just want advice, an I being pathetic? X
