Private post please – my son is 19 months with no words. He has finally got a speech and language therapist who is going to see him for the first time in January. I was told the first visit will be at home to assess him so was wondering if anyone has been through this and could tell me what the home visit is like and what she will look for? Thanks x

I never had a home visit.
But my son at 2 didn’t speak a word he had speech therapy for 4 years.
His first assessment was litrally just playing with him getting to no him asking me what noises he made ext x
