My son is recently 5 , me and his dad split when he was 2 he was horrible, controlling and drank a lot I never did anything about it and took a lot of abuse I eventually moved out to my dads got a job and then got my own place. Met someone new later on and the following year moved counties my son went to pre school full time while I worked not once did his dad travel down we always had to meet him so now where at a place where my son is in reception primary he didn’t attend any induction days, first days etc and still has only travelled down when his brother drives to pick our son up (3x a year if that) we have to meet half way, we never agree on anything , always arguing about access and travel etc! What are my rights I work full time my son is in primary and can’t always meet him half way etc ps he works from home too and always has done)
