No slagging off! Because that’s not why I’ve posted. I’ve posted for advice not opinions on how I should parent 👍🏻

Afternoon all. I really need some help with my 5 year old little boy. Lately he has been being so naughty, me and him clash a lot because we are so alike, but I am getting to the point where I’m crying out of anger and frustration because of his outbursts. For instance today, I took him to get his hair cut, but because he didn’t want it cut he wouldn’t get out of the car, when I finally got him out he was screaming, shouting, crying, running up and down the high street etc. He’s shown me up so bad. I am quite a hot head at times but when he has an episode like today I tend to be quite calm and talk to him calmly, I don’t shout (mainly because of people looking etc!) Anyway, I’m looking for advice on how to handle theses episodes and any techniques any of you may have. It is literally just me who he behaves like this with, he is generally such a loving and polite little boy and I’m always complimented on how polite and friendly he is. I know some of the behaviour is down to me too because I can shout etc but I need tips for myself and for him if that makes sense. Thank you 👍🏻
