One of my best friends of 10 years is throwing a party at her house for her kids birthday in a few months and I wanted to take my kids. However, she’s my ex boyfriend’s sister and this is the ex that used to beat me up and he’s going. My ex and current fiance hate each other and I’ve told her we will do something together with the kiddies before or after the party as I don’t really want to be around him. Now’s she’s fallen out with me because of it. Am I in the wrong?
