I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant second baby, I’m employed 16 hours a week, I handed my bosses my form from the midwife at 24 weeks and they said they will pay me maternity allowance as I’m entitled to it and can go on maternity from the 1st January, my last shift was Saturday, Iv received a message tonight saying they aren’t paying me it now and they have a smp1 form there for me to collect? Where do I stand with this? They have misinformed me, plus the earlier I claim it from the government the better so now boss aren’t going to pay me but I’m already on maternity leave? Where do I stand please? X
