I’m terrified my 8 year old son is becoming a bully.
Please please don’t bash or judge me. I’m literally sat here in tears. I need advice on what I can do with him. At my son’s school you get a ‘red card ‘ for anything you do which physical (pushing, hitting etc). In the last month alone he’s had about 10 red cards, they get kept in at lunch for this but it doesn’t seem to be working. He had a red card yesterday for physically pushing over a girl, 10 days ago it was for snatching a hoop out of a boys hand the year below and making his hand bleed, another incident is him tripping some one up purposely and kicking them. He then lies about it. His teachers aren’t very good at telling me so I have to ask. Which yesterday I was dealing with something else so didn’t get chance to talk to his teacher. I take his Xbox away and stop him going out etc. I’m just at a loose end now and don’t even know what to do with him any more. He isn’t like it at home he teases his sister a bit but never physically hurts her. Genuinely feel so lost now, he’s never been like this at home. Can some one please give me some helpful advice I’m so desperate to stop him doing this! X
