Question please.
I’m a single mum and get help towards my daughter’s nursery. She will.now be getting 30 hours free which will cover whole period she’s in nursery and more per week. Question . . How will it work when when it’s not term time will I have to pay? I’m a little confused about it. As I can’t afford to pay her full child care for say the 6 weeks holiday. Christmas etc xx

They can add up how much the holidays work out to, and divide it by the weeks in the year, so u pay say a 20 every week and that covers the holidays so it doesn’t cost too much at the time x
Free hours are only valid during term time. You’ll have to pay during the school holidays
Will nursery let you bank Hours if you don’t use all 30 hours then use them during hols I work in a nursery we do
Yes you will pay when not in term time
tax credits will help toward childcare
