So I’m 22 with a 2 year old and due to have my 2nd little one in 2 weeks time. I’ve been back and forth from the hospital many of times the past week explaining how unwell I feel until they finally listened and realised I’m actually as sick as I’m explaining. They kept me in and done tests and then sent me home to rest until later that night an out of hours doctor knocked at my door explaining how low my blood count was to the point the doctors and consultants at the hospital need to discuss a blood transfusion and an iron transfusion they’ve explained it’s to late to give me tablets or ask me to do a iron diet because it’s past the point of help. Monday I’ll be back in hospital for a iron transfusion and then they’ll discuss what to do about the rest of my pregnancy. My last blood count was 107 and they explained that was bad enough then but now it’s dropped to 69. Has anyone ever had this problem or had a transfusion? Not getting explained to much at the minute and really don’t want to Google
