So I’m looking for some advise.. my little boy is two next month and he is starting nusery next week, my problem is he naps 11am till 1pm sometimes 1 30 and he’s time at nursery is 12 45 till 5 345 3 days a week…so what shall I do about he’s nap time?? Most the time he falls asleep in the living room and I just let him sleep it through. If I keep him up all that time he will end up spending half he’s time at nursery asleep and be miserable for me from 11am because that’s when he gets tired 😐 he’s nap time use to be 930am but he use to get up at 5am… what shall I do with him at this age?? Should I try and nap him earlier or what? Shall I putt him down 11 till 12? Because I’ve always felt if a babe needs to sleep they need to sleep but do you think he’s naps could be smaller and that’s okay? ? I’m completely lost

I think if you put him down to sleep about half 10 – 11ish and wake him at 12 he will be fine 🙂 my son is 3 and stopped napping just after he turned 2. I have worked in a few creches and a lot of parent’s only allow their child to nap for an hour so we would have to wake them up then. An hour is a good nap in my opinion 🙂
Just try it and see what works best. You may well feel he will need an earlier night on nursery days and shorter naps. (Don’t forget he’ll need to eat before nursery too)
Let him nap on the days he doesn’t go. You may well find he manages on a different schedule just as well once he gets used to it !!

U might find if u keep him up he might start knocking the naps on the head because he won’t sleep at nursery incase he misses anything x
