Something that’s on my mind tonight and wondering how others deal with similar situations.
Me and my partner have been together since 15 and now 22. We have a little boy together after two years of trying. My partner has a liver disease, bowel disease and bone disease so is on a lot of medication and injections. I’ve been told his liver condition will shorten his life span and he will someday need a liver transplant. A year ago he was close to having his bowel removed and a bag put in place because it got so bad but luckily the medication is keeping it at bay for now. Most days I don’t think about it I just live in the moment but tonight I just want to burst into tears. I couldn’t imagine my life without him and I’m scared that he’ll get taken from me and my son to soon. Has anyone been in my situation?
