I got a letter from social services today saying they had a referral but are not allocating it for assessment based on all info being reviewed and thresholds applied.

Has anyone had similar?? I’m in shock, has someone reported me? And how have social services decided not to assess based on information available, what information??

There is no reason social services would have to get involved in my children’s lives, they never miss school, always on time, homeworks done, I don’t hit them, they’re clean and loved?! I’m baffled!

The only thing is their dad has mental health issues but we’re not together. I know he was in hospital last week as he harmed himself, could it be related?? He never takes them on his own though. Any advice greatly appreciated!
