It’s time for us to apply for a primary school place for our daughter…exciting!!
But now my nerves are kicking in, as everyone I want her to have the best possible start in life.
Where we live there are 2 primary schools, both under 5 minutes away from us, however 1 is a really good high achieving school, and the other is really poor, and known for underachieving and bullying! This is our first child…so no contributing factors for either school for a priority!
As we live in quite a secluded area both schools for the past few years haven’t turned down any applicants on their stats.
Has anybody ever put down just 1 school choice and got it? What happens if you only put 1 down and it’s rejected?
I’m really worried if I put both schools down (obviously the not so good school as second option) then that’s me saying I’m basically happy for her to go there if it’s offered – but I’m really not. Or they may give her a place there over the other one if they get less applications or something and it’s getting me so worked up just the thought 😞!

Advice? Would you just put the 1 school choice down? Xx
