Can I have a ppp, it’s really embarrising, I’ve been in my council house 11 years and about a year ago my next door neighbour told us she had a bad mouse problem and they were all over her house but I presumed she was dealing with it, I was hearing noise in my attic but thought I was being paranoid because she had them and then 1 night my daughter woke up screaming saying a mouse was in her room, I’m terrified of them so brought her out in with me and we basically sat in my bedroom all night as we were too scared to sleep but I didn’t want to leave my baby alone in the room either, booked pest control out next day he confirmed it was mice and started treatment straight away, they had been all over her room, she had Easter eggs in there which i didn’t know mice loved so probably that attracted them, I bleached all her room, threw out toys etc and obviously all the food and still don’t allow any up there now, next day then my partner called me because he heard something from my room and next thing one shot out from behind my bed, behind the wardrobe and down a hole barely seen it it was so quick so me n the kids moved out for few days, council refused to let me withold my rent to pay to stay elsewhere though! Since that night they have not been back in my house since but I’ve still heard them in the loft etc pest control been out about 8 times, gets rid of them but then I hear them again, last 2 times the poisen hasn’t been touched but I can still hear them so I think he thinks I’m being paranoid but I’m honestly not, I hear them mostly from my living room so I said could they be in the floorboards and not the loft but he said it’s hard to get to them if they are but he’s put some poisen down a hole upstairs to see if it gets touched. This has been going on for so long now council just don’t seem to care because their not in my house but I’m just so fed up of It, doesn’t help that next door isn’t dealing with it and shes practically abandoned the house now to be up her mum’s, at the time it started she kept missing bin day and was having ripped up bins outside her house etc, anyone know if there anything I can Do? I just want the council to change my priority band to move as I’m waiting for 3 bed anyway but they say you can get mice anywhere
