Hi can I have a private post please. I live with my partner and our son who was born this year. In July my maternity allowance stops. (Paid through the goverment ) however I am employed but I am not going back. I’m going to go back and study instead. Our home is in my partners name and we have a mortgage. On adverage each year he earns £18,000 which will be our only income. I have done a tax credit calculator online and we may be able to claim some tax credits. Does any one know if there’s any thing else we can apply for? Also will the tax credits take into account my wages from last year even if I’m not employed now as ive got a young baby to look after? Thanks just looking for some advice xx
